About the Founder

Zoe Zou

Founder &

Lead Educator

I still remember the first time four-year-old Gabrielle walked into my preschool Chinese immersion class. She stood quietly off to the side and said, “I’m just watching. This is weird… but kind of cool.”

That moment stayed with me.

Years later, Gabrielle graduated from a top university, speaks fluent Mandarin, and now works in international business. Watching her journey—from a hesitant observer to a confident global communicator—reminds me what’s possible when learning is guided the right way.

I am a U.S.-licensed principal and educator with over 20 years of international teaching experience, working with students from early childhood through adulthood.

I started LinguaLogic Learning after seeing too many students lose confidence or interest when learning felt overwhelming or disconnected. I knew there had to be a better way—a way where students don’t just get through learning, but grow through it.

Through my experience as a public school principal, assistant principal, and language program leader—and my work with the World Language Advisory Committee at the Washington State Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI)—I’ve seen that real progress comes from strong foundations, thoughtful structure, meaningful content, and consistent support. I also developed foreign language assessment methods for the Washington School for the Deaf, strengthening my approach to making learning accessible, meaningful, and measurable for every student.

Today, we provide personalized Chinese and math learning support, as well as homeschool support, for students in Seattle’s Eastside and online. We design learning that is structured, intentional, and connected to real life—so students not only understand, but can apply what they learn with confidence.

We are passionate about helping students grow into independent learners. We create learning experiences that are engaging, purposeful, and enjoyable—because when students are supported and capable, they begin to thrive.

And that is where real learning begins.
